Content & safety

PlayNeon hosts 9 non-violent, single-player puzzle and arcade games. There is no violence, no gambling or loot-box mechanic, no in-game purchase, no chat or messaging, no user accounts, no advertising and no personal data collection anywhere on the site.

What the games contain

Every game is a board, a grid or a simple arcade loop played alone against your own previous score. The subject matter is shapes, colours, numbers and patterns. Nothing depicts a person being harmed, and there is no blood, weaponry, horror imagery or suggestive content in any of them.

  • Single-player only — there is no multiplayer and no opponent
  • Non-violent throughout: abstract shapes, colours, numbers and patterns
  • No chat, comments, messaging, profiles or user-generated content
  • No accounts, no email capture and no login of any kind
  • No in-game purchases, currency, loot boxes or gambling mechanics
  • No advertising, and no third-party script on any page
  • No links out to external sites from inside a game

Is PlayNeon suitable for children?

The content is suitable for all ages, and the structural risks that normally make a games site unsuitable for children are absent rather than merely restricted: there is no way for a child to talk to anyone, to spend money, to create a profile, or to hand over personal information, because none of those features exist. Memory Flip, Echo Chain and Tilt Maze are the gentlest starting points; Neural Grid and Color Collapse are aimed at older players purely on difficulty.

To be precise about what this is not: PlayNeon is a general-audience site, not a service directed at children. It carries no cartoon mascot, no “for kids” positioning and no listings in children’s directories, and it is designed so that a child using it is no more exposed than an adult is — which is to say, not at all.

Is it safe on a school or office network?

The games are ordinary web pages, so nothing is installed, no permission is requested and no background process persists after you close the tab. There is no advertising network, which removes the most common route by which a games site serves something a filter would object to, and no outbound link from inside a game.

If you maintain a filter and need to make a decision about this domain, the short version is: playneon.fun serves static HTML and JavaScript from its own origin only, makes zero third-party requests, sets no cookies, and stores nothing beyond a numeric best score in the browser’s local storage. Questions are welcome via the contact page.

Accessibility

All 9 games honour the operating system’s reduce-motion setting: animation in the page and inside the game engines is suppressed when you have that preference switched on. Sound is off until you turn it on, and every game is fully playable in silence. No game uses a full-screen strobe or a rapidly alternating high-contrast flash.

Keyboard support is honest rather than complete: 6 of the 9 games can be played entirely from the keyboard, and the remainder currently require a pointer or touch. Those are listed below rather than quietly omitted, and closing that gap is open work.

Data and privacy

Nothing about you is collected. There is no analytics script, no advertising identifier, no cookie and no fingerprinting. Your best score for each game is written to your own browser’s local storage, never leaves your device, and is removed completely when you clear site data. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Reporting a problem

If anything on this site does not match the statement above — a game that behaves unexpectedly, a page that requests something it should not, or content you believe is unsuitable — please report it through the contact page. A statement is only worth what its corrections are worth, and this page is updated when something changes rather than on a schedule.
